Get close to the silver glistening fish - the herring
Grade: 2nd – 3rd grade
Price: 700 DKK (incl. assignments to use at school) + 55,- in entrance per student. The course is free for schools in Hjørring Municipality.

Duration: 60 minutes
Examination of dead and living herring.
Through dialog and independent studies of dead herring, groups of 2-3 students will work with the connection between the looks and living conditions of the fish, in the wet laboratory. We will use stereo microscopes to study how the herring eats its food. By the aquariums we will study the movements of the fish. An adjusted course may be completed at school in the municipality of Hjørring.
