At the North Sea Oceanarium, we offer an educational program for schools. Though most of our courses are in Danish, we do offer a few courses for English-speaking schools. Please contact us for further information.

Welcome to the North Sea Oceanarium School Service

The North Sea Oceanarium, which is the largest aquarium in northern Europe, is a four starred attraction, and that is your guarantee for an experience of quality.

The School Service provides education for both younger and older students – the course can take place at the Oceanarium as a combination of education in our wet laboratory and visits by the aquariums and in the exhibitions – indoors and outdoors. Some of the courses take place at the beach or by the pier.

On the website you will find a presentation of the different courses, which can be combined to fit your wishes – just like we are more than willing to tailor the courses to fit your needs.

Menus for school classes

Menu for younger school children (6-12 years)

 

Choose between:

  • Fish filet or chicken on a spear with cherry tomatoes, cucumber, carrots and bread
  • Fish filet or chicken on a spear with fries, remoulade and lemon

Per person incl. 1 soft drink 0,25 l               DKK 64,-


Menu for older school children (12-16 years)

Choose between:

  • Chicken breast with pasta, sauce, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, carrots and bread
  • Fish filet with fries, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, carrots and bread
  • Pizza with a mixed salad

Per person incl. 1 soft drink 0,25 l               DKK 72,-

If you wish to get a different beverage than soft drinks, we offer milk or juice

These menus have to be ordered 5 days prior to your visit, at the latest. Otherwise it is possible to choose from the menu at the Café, but that could include waiting time.
