The wonderful life at the coast

We kick-start the summer holiday theme of the year with bustling life: The wonderful life at the coast.

The large outdoor area, Marina, offers plenty of fun activities - everything from crab fishing to amber hunting or fishing in the stream Emmersbækken. Finish off with visiting the playground and a delicious lunch from Seafood followed by an ice cream.

In the middle of it all, the elegant seals romp in the Sælariet, where they are fed and trained twice daily.

New! We open our new creative workshop, Værftet, where you can unfold and for instance create funny sea creatures of different shells and beach finds from the Danish coasts.

In addition, you can of course also experience the diver feeding sharks, rays and schooling fish in the gigantic Oceanarium.

You literally come into close contact with the sea in our petting tank, and you can travel through the ocean's food chain in the “Hunters Of The North Sea” exhibition, showcasing everything from the smallest plankton to the largest predators.

Show us your beach find

The depths of the sea are full of fascinating things. Sometimes they wash up on our shores, allowing us to see them with our own eyes.

Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, we open “Bjørn’s Question Corner” in the North Sea Lab! Have you found anything interesting on a walk along the Danish coast? Then, bring it, let's take a closer look and see if we can identify it.
