Easter break at The North Sea Oceanarium
For more than 65 million years, sharks have been in the top of the food chain as the perfect predator. Fantastic senses make them able to locate their prey in the open sea. Big sharp teeth make them able to tear open and rip up their prey, and very special senses lets them see what no one else can! It’s not hard to understand why sharks are feared and respected in many parts of the world. And with good reason – if you’re a fish, that is! Luckily sharks have been more and more demystified through time and most people know, that as a human you don’t need to be afraid.
But what is it, that has made the sharks do so well? We’ll tell you, when our guides every day during Easter break shares stories about the shark’s fantastic senses.
