Learn more about eating fish

The day of the fish is a special day in Denmark, where Danish fish is promoted in many different ways. At The North Sea Oceanarium we celebrate the day with exiting activities for all.

Danish fish is both sustainable and climate-friendly, so of course this is the preferred fish amongst people. On “The day of the fish” we hope to awaken a curiosity and urge to eat even more delicious Danish fish.

This year, the North Sea Oceanarium will focus on “Projekt FiSK” on “The day of the fish”. The purpose of the project is to examine how fish can affect children’s health and concentration, and to give Danish children and their parents knowledge about and experiences with fish and health in a fun, untraditional, involving and nuanced way. So come join the fun, educational and tasteful experiences for your entire family.

There will be both tasting samples, guessing contests and fun facts to learn about fish as food.
